They say that the difference between a liquid and a gas is that a liquid is uncompressible. It's not quite true. It's nearly true. But for the most part I agree. This is how a hydraulic works. Push on liquids and they go other places. Place them under duress, and erosion proceeds. Any seal must be complete. Any incomplete seal will rupture.
In German, the word for "seal" and the word for "poetry" are the same: Dichtung.
I don't know what to make of that, but it means something.
